Finance Assistant job summary

This is a varied and important role supporting the day-to-day financial administration of King’s Academy Ringmer. As Finance Assistant, you will help ensure financial processes are accurate, timely and compliant with Trust procedures, contributing to the smooth running of the academy.

You will be responsible for routine finance tasks including processing purchase orders and invoices, supporting payment runs, maintaining financial records and assisting with reconciliations and reporting. You will also respond to finance queries from staff, suppliers and stakeholders, providing a professional and helpful point of contact.

Alongside finance responsibilities, the role includes wider administrative support across the academy. This may include supporting student services processes, assisting with trips and events, and providing occasional cover within the main office when required .

Working closely with academy colleagues and the central finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring systems run efficiently and that high standards of accuracy and service are maintained.
