Finance Assistant

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week

Working Pattern Monday – Friday 9.00am – 2.30pm (with 30 mins unpaid lunch break)

Weeks: 40 weeks per year (38 weeks term time, plus an additional 10 days to be worked in school holidays)

Holiday: Pro rata entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays taken during periods of school closure

Salary: Orbis pay scale 10-14 (£23,229 - £24,772) FTE. Pro rata salary for 40 worked weeks per annum and paid holiday entitlement £13,975 to £14,903

Pension: Generous local government pension scheme from day 1 of employment

We are seeking a positive, proactive and confident person to join our finance team. Applicants should be organised, self-confident and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills along with the ability to multitask.

You will have a good finance administration background and be confident in acting as a first point of contact for finance queries. We are especially keen to interview candidates with experience in Finance and skills using Microsoft Excel and Finance Software systems.
