Finance Assistant job summary
Post Title: Finance Assistant
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the daily processing and admin are kept up to date within finance.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and credit notes on the finance system Access.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Answer phone calls and contact suppliers regarding any order queries.
Adding new suppliers to the system after completing checks.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.

Start Date: 1st April 2026
Hours: 24 hours per week
Job Type: Fixed Term linked to growth plans
Working Days: Monday - Wednesday 08:00am-16:00pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break
Salary Grade: NJC Grade L3 - Point 6 - £25,989 (FTE), Annual Actual £13,374 plus pension benefits and family private healthcare
