The STAR Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development and the Finance Team is looking to recruit a Financial Administrator. We are thrilled to be looking to recruit external talent to play a key role in providing financial support to the Central Team. The key place of work will be Rose Cottage where we have a central base but this role could include some movement between schools and sited dependant on the need of the team.
The Financial Assistant role is to provide effective administration and financial support services to schools, including some financial reporting and input. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities and requires a wide range of knowledge and experience. You would support the Central Team in all financial aspects including processing orders for goods and services, inputting payments and receipts to MAT accounts, bank processing, journal vouchers and report generation. The successful candidate will also assist the Finance Manager with financial transactions such as income adjustments, internal adjustments, trip income/expenditure, accruals/prepayments and error suspense, in accordance with MAT procedures and timescales.
