Job type:  Permanent

Working Pattern:    20
hours a week, 38 weeks + 5 training days per year

                                                                               Hours of work:    1pm – 5pm Monday to
Friday.

                                                                                        A degree of flexibility on days and times can be accommodated but the
ideal candidate must be able to finish work no earlier than 4:30pm every day**

                                                                  *Please note that the
final pro rata figure will be calculated by Luton Borough Council

                                                                **Must be available
to cover school office & answer school phones as and when needed


The
Finance Assistant will be employed to support the Business Manager and school
in its effective discharge of financial matters in accordance with procedures,
policy and the legal framework.

  • Ideally has experience using FMS/HCSS

  • Knowledge and experience of account procedures

  • Ideally has experience working in a school office

  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication
    skills

  • The ability to prioritise and work well under
    pressure

  • Is well organised with excellent IT Skills. 

  • The ability to respond well to unexpected
    changes on a daily basis.
