What skills and experience we're looking for
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Support Staff Team at Durham Johnston Comprehensive School.
As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include overseeing the finance operations, financial planning and monitoring.You will be required to assist the Director of Finance and Operations to discharge their financial and related management duties regarding the financial planning and resource allocation capabilities of the school.
The post holder will also be required to work within and comply with financial regulations and within the limitations of school budgets allocated to the school.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a positive and proactive team player
- Have a strong aptitude for working with figures
- Possess a background in finance (education sector experience is desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
