The role:

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and proactiveFinance Managerto provide leadership and management to the finance department whilst supporting the Finance Director, as well as working closely with the CEO, CFOO and School Headteachers. This is a great opportunity to join an evolving and growing finance department within a thriving trust. Key responsibilities will include managing the finance teams, monitoring and checking processes and developing effective systems of internal audit control, in accordance with the Trust’s Financial Procedures and Academy Trust Handbook ATH. The successful candidate will also provide training and support to current and new starters within the team.

About You:

The successful candidate will hold a vital management role within the Trust Head Office. Skills and experience required for the job are:

  • Holding a relevant qualification in finance e.g. Accounting;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a finance department
  • Having an understanding of accounting processes and procedures;
  • Experience of managing staff in a fast-paced department
