What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Finance Officer to provide financial support to academies within the Trust. The role is full time (37 hours pw) worked term time plus 4 weeks. It will be based at the ACT Trust office in Buckden although there may be opportunities to work from home. The successful candidate may also be required to travel to any of the Trust academies from time to time.
The successful candidate will assist the CFO in supporting, processing and preparing accounting data for each of the academies.
An accounting qualification and / or experience of Access accounting software would be desirable although not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Be good at organising and prioritising
- Pay attention to detail and accuracy
- Have good verbal and written skills
- Show strict adherence to regulations, procedures and practices
- Have the ability to meet deadlines
