Contract: 41 weeks per year (Term time plus 10 days)

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

At Broadleaf Partnership Trust, we believe that providing an exceptional education starts with supporting our staff.

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our central team. This role is essential in delivering a professional, accurate, and responsive finance service, enabling our school leaders to focus on what matters most — the success and wellbeing of our children.

This is a fast-paced position that requires a high level of accuracy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with complete confidentiality.

Working as part of the wider Finance Team, you will provide specialist financial support to the schools for which you have direct responsibility, ensuring a high-quality and efficient service is delivered across the Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to support the effective operation of financial processes and ensure compliance with the financial policies of Broadleaf Partnership Trust and the DfE Academy Trust Handbook.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in a finance or administrative role who can demonstrate our core values of honesty, integrity, and respect. Experience within the education sector would be advantageous; however, we also welcome applications from candidates with strong transferable skills.

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and able to work with initiative and attention to detail. You will be comfortable working independently while also contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.

If you believe you have the skills and commitment and you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of our students and staff, we would like to hear from you.

We can offer you;

  • The opportunity to work in this forward-thinking academy trust where teamwork and collaboration are at the heart of all we do,
  • A supportive, professional and innovative team who will value your unique contribution
  • Professional development opportunities and encouragement to grow professionally
  • A generous package including Local Government Pension scheme, cashback healthcare plan, free GP helpline service for you and anyone in your household, employee assistance scheme (offering free and confidential advice and counselling) and a cycle to work scheme.
  • Flexible working opportunities
