Vacancy for Finance Officer

Salary: Meridian Trust Support, Grade 7, point 12-19

Hours of work: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (days and working hours to be confirmed with the successful candidate.)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding team as a Finance Officer. This role will assist the Trust Accountant in supporting, processing, and preparing accounting data within the Trust. This is a dynamic role with responsibility for a variety of tasks from monthly supplier payments and payroll administration to reconciliation of the balance sheet and plenty more between.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience working in an administrative or accounting environment.
  • Must have a full valid driving license and access to their own means of transport.
  • Have a working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with PSF or equivalent accounting software.
  • Possess the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
