Finance Officer job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, well organised, experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team at New College Durham Academies Trust. This position will be based at Wellfield School.

Working under the direction of the Finance Manager, successful candidates should be Level 4 AAT qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience using an accounts package.

Applicants will be proficient in working with all Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel and must have experience of working in an office environment and supporting senior leaders within an organisation. Experience of producing financial reports, budgets and other financial information is essential.

As well as excellent communication skills, you must have the ability to lead and motivate other staff whilst simultaneously dealing with a number of projects and ensuring tasks are complete to adhere to any deadlines.
