Finance Officer (Part time job share) job summary
The Finance Officer will support the school in ensuring that all financial transactions are properly authorised and recorded in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the Trust Finance Handbook. Support the School Business Manager/Headteacher in ensuring robust financial management throughout the school. Provide assistance to all staff members in the school on financial processes.
This role is to be performed as a job share, and therefore the hours of work will predominantly be based on a Monday and Friday, although there is flexibility on the start and finish times, with potential to spread across three days for a suitable candidate. The role will be all year round for 14.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have experience working within a generalised finance role.
Support staff at Oxford Spires Academy are full members of the school team and give highly effective support. The successful candidate will be a valued member of the teaching and support teams and will make a contribution to the wider ethos, values and culture of the school.
