Location: King’s Leadership Academy Warrington, Hillock Ln, Woolston, Warrington, WA1 4PF.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team based at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington, supporting the Trust’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all schools.
The RoleAs our Finance & Payroll Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality finance and payroll services across the Trust. You will:
- Process new starters, leavers, and payroll adjustments in a timely, compliant manner.
- Liaise with the external payroll provider and respond to payroll queries professionally.
- Process purchase and sales invoices, reconcile ledgers, and prepare BACS payment runs.
- Communicate effectively with schools and suppliers to resolve queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including contract changes and absence data.
- Support the wider Finance Team with projects and contribute to continuous improvement.
About You
You will be a motivated and detail-oriented professional with:
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).
- Experience in Finance and/or Payroll administration.
- Strong IT and Excel skills, with familiarity in finance systems and payroll software.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity.
(Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.)
