What skills and experience we're looking for

At Colyton Grammar School, we have a new position open for a First Aid and Resources Assistant to join a friendly administrative team, providing an efficient point of contact within Resources.

Job overview

The main purpose is to provide school first aid service for students, staff and visitors. Running the school resources and reprographics service, providing printing, copying and stationery to support the delivery of education.

In addition you may support the Admin Team by answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored, as well as providing general clerical and administrative support and maintaining school records.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills
  • A high level of verbal and written communication standards
  • Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
