Grade B – £24,027 - £24,348 FTE

Actual Salary – £17,405.21 - £17,637.75 per annum

Fixed Term – Term time, 39 weeks per year, 31.25 hours a week

Monday to Friday 08:15 – 15:00 (30 min unpaid break)

Maternity cover - start date 09 June 2025 until the return of the current post holder.

Cams Hill School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead First Aider to take a central role in our school's first aid provision.

Your Role:

As the Lead First Aider, you’ll be the go-to person for first aid provision within the school. You will be required to:

Provide immediate first aid and coordinate a team of trained first aiders

Maintain and update medical records, risk assessments, and policies

Support pupils and families with ongoing medical needs

Deliver or coordinate health interventions

Liaise with staff, families, external agencies, and medical professionals

Administer immunisation sessions and medical supplies across the school

What We're Looking For:

A First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Experience supporting young people or working with families

Confident communication and excellent organisational skills

Calm, discreet, and able to respond to a range of situations

Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and school systems (training provided)

A team player with a proactive, compassionate attitude
