What skills and experience we're looking for

Maiden Erlegh School are looking to appoint a First Aid/Welfare support worker to provide an empathetic and supportive service to pupils.

The role will require the following skills and experience:

  • To Lead on school first aid provision
  • Experience of working with young people in a school or similar environment
  • The ability to show empathy and understanding
  • Good organisation skills
  • Reliability, tact and diplomacy

The successful applicant will enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team. You will share our inclusive values which are to Aim high – Be inclusive – Work together; and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.

Maiden Erlegh School is a highly successful comprehensive school for students from 11-18 years old, situated in Earley, near Reading.
