Fixed Term Contract Learning and Teaching Assistant job summary

The Governing Body of Riverside Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced Learning and Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with specific and challenging behavioural and learning needs under the direction of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager. The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent. Experience of working with challenging behaviour and a good knowledge and understanding of ASD behavioural needs, and Speech and Language needs is essential.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
