What skills and experience we're looking for
Alphington Primary School is looking to appoint a teacher to start on 1st September 2024 to cover maternity leave.
This will be a part time 0.8 post in upper KS2.
(We also have a full time KS1 maternity cover vacancy so please indicate which
post you are interested in on your application form.)
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:
- Is committed to ensuring that all children achieve the highest possible outcomes.
- Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be.
- Has good curriculum knowledge with experience of teaching key stage one for the full time post.
- Has a dedication towards a child-centred approach, with creative ideas for learning opportunities.
- Have a secure knowledge and understanding of how children learn and become highly independent and resourceful.
- Has energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
- A determination to make learning fun, creative and exciting.
- Has a desire for excellence for themselves and the children they work with.
- A passion and ability to inspire.
