Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and exceptional Food and Nutrition teacher to join our successful and supportive team, here at Willoughby Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to be at the forefront of developing food and nutrition within the Willoughby Curriculum. The successful candidate should be confident in teaching pupils from Key stage 1 – 5.
Willoughby is an all need, Special Academy (2 – 19) for pupils with moderate, severe, profound and complex needs. We are currently in the process of a considerable expansion project and look forward to having a purposeful built food and nutrition room, which will enable the subject to become an integral part of the Willoughby Curriculum.

The successful candidate will be:

• A teacher who is able to motivate, lead, support and challenge pupils and staff to be successful

• Able to support specific needs in accordance with the requirements of pupils individual Educational Health and Care Plans.
