Loreto High School is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Food Services Supervisor to join our supportive team. In this role, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of behaviour and fostering respect throughout the school community. You will assist in supporting students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, and contribute to their academic and personal development. Staff are expected to uphold the school’s ethos, promote courtesy, and reinforce our policies on conduct. We also encourage active participation in extra-curricular activities to enrich students’ experiences beyond the classroom

The Successful Candidate will demonstrate:

Preparation of healthy meals following established recipes and food safety standards
•
Cook and serve meals to students efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
•
Assist with setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and cleaning surfaces before and after service
•
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas
•
Support administration and inventory management
• Organising supplies, placing orders, checking stock levels,
•
Uphold food safety protocols at all times, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items
•
Engage with students during meal service to promote positive dining experiences and upsell nutritious options
•
Confidence
in building positive, respectful relationships with pupils and staff
•
A clear
and consistent approach to routines, ensuring expectations are understood and
followed by all
•
Professional
credibility with colleagues, building trust as a reliable and
effective provision
