The Role
Starting as soon as possible, we are looking to recruit a professional and motivated Food Technician to join our highly successful Technology team. This role is being advertised as a Grade B position and would be ideal for someone who may be looking at a career in teaching and wants to gain first-hand experience of working in a school.
Principal duties for the Food Technician include preparation of ingredients and equipment; placing food shops online and in person; overseeing food budget; maintain general tidiness and organisation of the food department.
Previous experience of working in a school and possession of a current Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be given.
The successful candidate will need to complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate online, if they don't already have one.
Hours of work:
Monday-Friday 17.5 hrs per week (08:00-11:30)
