What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, patient and motivated Out of School Club Assistant to join our team at Chulmleigh Primary School.

The successful candidate will work with senior staff and the Out of School Club Supervisor to ensure a creative and supportive learning environment for our pupils. The After School Club provides an opportunity to engage children in a range of activities in a relaxed and safe setting.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have excellent communication skills to allow confident interaction with children and parents
  • be creative with a good understanding of recreational and physical activities to engage children and promote learning
  • be able to work as part of a team
  • be able to encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children

Ideally the successful candidate will be available to start in November, but we have some flexibility and intend to appoint the best candidate for the role.

The working pattern will be Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 6.00pm.
