Are you passionate about food and supporting young people in their learning? Wollaston School is seeking a dedicated Food Technician to join our vibrant Food and Nutrition Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting practical lessons, ensuring a safe and well-organised environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

·Prepare and clear away resources for food lessons

·Support students and staff during practical sessions

·Manage stock, order supplies, and maintain equipment

·Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met

·Provide general administrative support to the department

Wollaston School is a large, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes drive from Northampton. The student intake draws on nearby villages and the towns of Earls Barton, Wellingborough, and Irchester. We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form. The school is over-subscribed. Wollaston School was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2023.
