Samuel Ryder Academy seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Food Technology Teacher to teach across the age and ability range. This opportunity is open to experienced qualified teachers and early career teachers. Samuel Ryder offers the successful candidate an inspiring and rewarding role.

OFSTED inspected the Academy in April 2026 and judged the school as ‘Strong Standard’ in 6 categories and the ‘Expected Standard’ in the remaining 2 categories.

The Academy has a clear vision and ethos which has led to outstanding results and is the school of choice for local parents. Our specialisms are English and New Technologies, and as an Apple Distinguished School and Regional Training Centre for Apple, we have innovative use of iPad technology across the school. There are excellent facilities for both staff and students.
