Food Technology Teacher job summary
The Role
We seek an inspirational, dedicated and passionate teacher of Food (and Hospitality) to start 2023. The ideal candidate for this vacancy will be enthusiastic about teaching Food, be resilient in developing this passion with the students. In addition to this they will need to be able to communicate to pupils an enthusiasm for these subjects, whilst remaining focused on outstanding progress.
You will need to:
- Be committed to teaching Hospitality & Catering (WJEC CBAC) and Food Technology to KS3 and KS4.
- be committed to high quality teaching and learning
- be inspirational in the classroom
- be committed to excellence
- be ambitious in your determination to ensure all learners achieve
- be innovative, resilient and reflective

The Design Technology faculty consists of a highly effective suite of subjects including Engineering, hospitality and catering and food preparation and nutrition, as well as a hard-working team committed to raising the profile of the department within the academy across all of the key stages. The department has the support and dedication subject specialist technicians and outstanding facilities having originally been the first city technology college the workshops reflect the first class facilities.
