Food Technology Technician
35 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Fixed Term for one year with a view to the role being made permanent.
Start Date: ASAP
Scale: Sc 6 Pt 18 to 20 depending upon experience,
Actual pro rated Salary: £32519.69 - £33492.49
We are a comprehensive inner London secondary school with a diverse intake of students from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. We were graded as Good in all aspects during our last Ofsted Inspection (April 2023).
We are looking to appoint a Food Technology Technician to support the work of the Food Technology department
You should have a good working knowledge, understanding and experience of the following;
Experience of working in a setting with school age children or in an educational setting.
Knowledge and experience of food preparation and resource planning in an educational setting.
Knowledge and experience of the Food Technology Curriculum requirements
Be able to resolve/identify issues regarding equipment and technology in a timely manner
Good administrative/communication and organisational skills
Working within an inner city context.
