Required to start as soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and suitably experienced Technician to support the Food Technology Department in the preparation of practical lessons and organisation of equipment and resources within the department. Applicants should be organised and hardworking, with a desire to work with and support students during lessons. Hours can be flexible, ideally 2 hours am and 1 hour pm, but consideration would be given to splitting the am/pm contracts or to 3 hours daily in one block am or pm split.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Literacy & Numeracy at Level 2
• Hardworking and enthusiastic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to be adaptable to the changing needs and requirements of the post
• Have a commitment to collaboration and co-operative working
