What skills and experience we're looking for
The Pride Academy is seeking a dedicated and organised Food Technology Technician to support our Food Technology Department. You will play a key role in preparing equipment, managing stock, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment, and assisting students and teachers during practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Food Technology Teacher for a range of groups by supervising and providing particular support
• Develop a holistic approach to meeting Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs
• Assist with the development and implementation of individual Education/Behaviour Plans
• Establish therapeutic relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
• Encourage students to interact with others
• Help students develop resilience and independence
