A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at The Hemel Hempstead School for a Food Technician to provide practical and technical support within the Design & Technology faculty. The Faculty has recently relocated to a purpose-built department featuring two brand-new Food and Nutrition classrooms, a dedicated preparation area, and a team office.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, well-motivated and will work well as part of a team to ensure equipment and materials are maintained and set up in advance to support our Food Technology teachers, and sometimes the Technology Faculty as a whole. They will be organised and have the ability to work with young people to support their learning and development. A background in the food industry would be advantageous.
