The role

  • 8:25am - 3:15pm Monday-Friday, term-time only.
  • Teaching at all levels within a dynamic, energetic department
  • Planning and preparing lessons to reflect individual needs of students
  • Regular assessment of students in line with departmental and school policies
  • Fulfilment of tasks as set by the Head of Department
  • Participation in meetings with colleagues, parents and students relating to the responsibilities listed above
  • To discharge a duty of care to all students in the school.

The ideal candidate

  • Honours degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching A-Level is desirable but not essential
  • Applications are equally welcome from experienced or newly-qualified teachers.
  • The role is full time but part-time hours may be considered for highly experienced candidates
