Do you want to work in a flourishing federation / collaboration? We will provide a fantastic opportunity for you to successfully develop your career. We welcome applications from experienced teachers looking for a new challenge, but equally from ECT’s. Whatever stage you are at in your career we offer excellent support and development.
Terrington is a small rural Primary School within a vibrant village community. In September there will be 30 children on role and due to nursery starters this increases throughout the year. There are currently 2 classes EYFS / KS1 (including nursery) and KS2.
Terrington is federated with Foston Primary School and we also closely collaborate with Stillington Primary School. All three schools share a senior leadership team. Our three schools are located in a triangle approximately eight miles apart, to the North of York. Their location allows for extremely close working including shared planning and staff training. The children regularly come together for curriculum enhancements.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations of what children can learn and the skills to support the progress of all through an exciting and creative curriculum. As EYFS/KS1 teacher the enthusiasm and motivation to help market our school through open days/playgroup and nursery links is also important.
Our Collaboration / Federation can offer:
-A Senior Management Team with the skill and experience to drive forward school improvement.
- A highly supportive and caring community founded on the caring ethos of the school.
- Friendly and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn.
- A vibrant and fun learning environment.
- Access to high quality CPD and support.
- An experienced EYFS and KS1 team who work together across our 3 schools.
Terrington CE VA Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safeguarding of children. The successful candidate must receive a satisfactory enhanced DBS check before taking up the post.
