About us
We are a small school with a big heart and even bigger ambitions. At Pollyplatt Primary Academy, every child is known, every voice is heard, and every dream is nurtured. Our size is our strength: it allows us to create a close-knit, caring environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best.
Our motto, “Small school, big dreams” is more than just words. It reflects our belief that no dream is too big, and no child too small to make a difference. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the sports field, or through creative expression, we encourage our pupils to aim high, work hard, and be proud of who they are. Our dedicated team works in partnership with parents to help every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About our Trust
We are proud to be part of Infinity Academies Trust, a family of 20 schools in Lincolnshire. At Infinity, children are at the heart of everything we do. We strive every day to add value to our schools to enable them to be even better places for our children and young people to learn and grow. We are proud that our trust serves a wide number of different communities and is made up of different kinds of schools. It's this diversity and difference that gives us our strength and broadens our knowledge base of what works best for children.
About the role
We are to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional practitioner who is passionate about making a positive difference to children's learning, progress and well-being.
We are looking for someone who can inspire pupils, support colleagues and contribute to the continued success of our school. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff and the wider team, playing a key role in both the planning, delivery and assessment of high-quality learning experiences.
The role will involve delivering targeted interventions, leading group work, and undertaking whole-class teaching to support pupil achievement and engagement. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring that every pupil feels safe, valued and supported to flourish.
Why Join us?
As a Trust we promote the individuality of our schools and provide them with the freedom to develop their own strengths, distinct character and to meet the needs of their communities whilst at the same time seeking to maximise the benefits of being part of a larger network and organisation. Being part of a Trust gives our staff access to exciting professional development opportunities, gives children the chance to interact with others from different schools and provides challenge and support to school leaders through effective governance.
We are driven by a passion to do our very best for the children in our schools and we know that by working together we can achieve things that we could not do alone.
In return we can offer:
A uniquely inclusive school with a strong tangible vision.
Vibrant, compassionate children who are eager to learn.
A kind and caring atmosphere where all our pupils and staff are valued.
Supportive leadership that will contribute to your continued professional development within school and across Infinity Academies Trust.
A hardworking, friendly, supportive and dedicated professional team of colleagues.
Regular opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from across Infinity Academies Trust to ensure our children are reaching their full potential.
Partnerships with LEAD Teaching School Hub and The National College.
A dedicated 24/7 employee assistance programme delivered by Education Support.
School visits are highly recommended. If you would like to arrange a visit, or have an informal chat about this vacancy, please contact Rhys Lyle (Headteacher) on 01522 730393.
