What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to increased pupil numbers at our thriving village primary school, we are looking for a committed and caring Teaching Assistant who will work closely with our teachers and children. You will support in class and run a variety of intervention groups in our lower Key Stage 2 classes, as well covering part of lunchtime each day. We are passionate about providing an outstanding education and a culture that ensures our children love coming to school.

The successful candidate should have the following qualities:

Previous experience working with children is essential.

The role is Monday – Friday 8.45am-3.15pm, 30 hours per week, term time only, West Berkshire Pay Scale B2-3, actual salary £16,777 - £16,965. The role is a temporary role for one academic year (until 31st August 2027) with the possibility of extension.
