Fundraising and Development Lead job summary

The CAM Academy Trust is seeking an experienced Fundraising and Development Lead to join our growing team. This is a new and exciting role that will work across our family of schools to unlock funding opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and support our mission of delivering excellence for all our young people.

Our Trust is in an exciting period of development and growth. This role will be crucial in supporting our long term aims and goals.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Communications and Partnerships, you will:

Lead the development and implementation of a Trust-wide fundraising strategy

Identify and secure funding from grants, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners

Support individual schools in developing tailored fundraising plans

Build and manage relationships with donors and community stakeholders

Collaborate on marketing and social media campaigns to raise the Trust’s profile

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in fundraising, development, or income generation

A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and writing skills

Skilled in digital marketing and social media

Strategic, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities

Passionate about making a difference

Collaborative and thrives on building relationships

Experience in the education or non-profit sector is desirable, but not essential.
