Fundraising and Development Officer job summary

We are seeking a Fundraising and Development Officer to help us share this message and lead on the implementation of our new development strategy.
Our ideal candidate will:
- have relevant experience of developing, delivering and organising fundraising, communications, events and campaigns.
- be a creative thinker.
- possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- have excellent time management and organisational skills, and be able to prioritise and manage their own workload.
The salary for this post will be at Grade 8 (scale point 18 - 23) with an actual salary of £10,778 - £11,768 based on working 15 hours per week during term-time and an additional 5 days throughout the year.

This role includes regulated activity relevant to children.

Commitment to safeguarding
Cheney School and The River Learning Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and preventing extremism; all staff must ensure that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and obtain any other statutorily required clearance. Employment will also be conditional on the receipt of at least two acceptable references (1 from current/latest employer) and evidence of the formal qualifications required for the role.
