About us and the role
Are you a reliable, hands-on team player with a passion for great service and high standards?
We’re looking for a General Assistant to join our hardworking catering team, supporting both kitchen and front-of-house operations to ensure everything runs smoothly day to day.
From preparing and packing delicious meals to keeping our service areas spotless and organised, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the quality, hygiene and efficiency we’re known for.
Working closely with the Chef Manager and other colleagues, you’ll help create a welcoming and well-run environment where teamwork, pride and attention to detail make all the difference.
What will you do?
- Prepare all types of food in line with kitchen requirements or to pack meals as needed
- Liaise and co-operate with the Chef manager and the Front of house manager, to follow and respect their request and orders.
- Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day duties in the kitchen and Front of House, ensuring that the required catering service is successfully delivered daily basis. This includes working as an effective team member.
- Preparation of meals and or packing, observing all Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety requirements.
What are we looking for?
- Kitchen Experience or Front of House Experience
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen health and safety
- Ability to follow strict instructions in a systematic and consistent manner
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
