We are one of only 3 maintained nursery schools in North Yorkshire and we offer children a unique start to their education. Children aged between 2 and 4 play and learn together in our wonderful Victorian building and garden. Our learning environment and education provision that is offered to our 95 children on roll is second to none and our teaching assistants play an important part in school life. Our team ethos helps make our school welcoming, calm and purposeful.
We are in our busiest term of the year and an increase in pupil numbers means that we are looking to appoint a motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school.
You will work with individual and groups of children as part of our staff team. We are continuously developing our specialist practice in supporting children with a wide range of additional needs and we pride ourselves in having the highest expectations for all children. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with very young children, and a special interest in working with children who have additional needs. We are working hard to develop our nurture provision for some our most vulnerable children and we are looking to strengthen our team who work flexibly with all children who are on roll.
