What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a positive, flexible, and hardworking individual to join our successful school team. This is a varied role that involves working in a Year 2/3 class to support a child with SEND. Although you will be working alongside the class teacher, using your own initiative and responding to the needs of the child, will be key to enabling this child to achieve their potential. The role also extends to supporting children more widely in the class and over the lunchtime period as a lunchtime supervisor.

The successful applicant will have high expectations of all children and the passion to get the very best from each individual. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of supportive teachers and other teaching assistants. Experience of SEND or working 1:1 would be an advantage, but most importantly you will be adaptable and have the right attitude towards the children you work with.
