We are seeking to appoint an excellent Geography Teacher to join our growing team of Geography specialists within the Humanities department. The successful candidate will have exceptional knowledge of Geography and experience of teaching both GCSE and A-Level Geography classes, ideally within the AQA specification.

The role will involve working as part of a team to implement and adapt schemes of work and assessments from KS3-5 when required, alongside other specialists. Experience leading or undertaking fieldwork is desirable. The ability to teach a second Humanities subject at either GCSE or A-Level would be advantageous.

The Humanities department includes subject specialist teachers in Geography, RE, History, Psychology, Sociology, Politics and Law. As a team, we are hard-working and motivated to allow all students to achieve success in their chosen area of study. The department makes challenge for all the centre of their pedagogy and strives to make lessons enjoyable for students, to encourage a love of learning. We are keen to run trips and extracurricular activities to offer pupils new opportunities, developing pupils’ cultural capital. The department has seen a growth in the number of students choosing options within the humanities disciplines, both at KS4 and KS5 so joining us at this time of growth could offer some exciting prospects.
