Geography Teacher - Fixed term appt required for Sept to Dec 24 / Jul 25 job summary
Geography is currently taught across KS3 to KS5 at Birchwood High School, and the department prides itself on providing a broad and inventive program of study that is applicable to students in the 21st century. It is one of the more popular GCSEs and A Levels within the school, we typically have 5 GCSE groups per year and two A Level groups per year. A large part of this success is due to our strong KS3 curriculum provision and our fantastic teachers.
We are currently seeking to employ a well-qualified and passionate teacher to join our Geography department on a fixed term basis commencing September 2024. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and inspirational practitioner with excellent subject knowledge of KS3 through to KS5 and who wants to play a full role within the department. There is also the opportunity of teaching other Humanities subjects at KS3. The contract would be for a minimum of one term and a maximum of a year.
