What skills and experience we're looking for
5. Knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements for the relevant age range and the specific ability to teach the appropriate subject.
6. Ability to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate students’ learning.
7. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of assessment and record keeping and their use to promote the educational and personal development of the students.
8. Ability to use ICT creatively as a teaching and learning tool.
9. Ability to communicate ideas clearly to a variety of groups.
10. Understanding of the requirements of students with special needs and disability.
11. Ability to effectively manage and motivate students.
12. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity and the welfare of all students.
13. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to high educational standards and to maximising the achievements of all students.
