Why join Diverse Academies Trust as a Governance Professional?
This is a rewarding and varied role at the heart of academy governance, where you will play a key part in supporting effective decision-making and helping our academies deliver the very best outcomes for children and young people. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with governors, academy leaders and colleagues across the Trust, building strong relationships and providing trusted advice, guidance and support. If you are an organised, people-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on managing a range of priorities and takes pride in delivering high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
We recognise the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. This role offers a flexible and agile approach to working, with time spent at our Head Office, within academies and working from home. We are also committed to supporting flexible working arrangements wherever possible, including flexibility around start and finish times, helping you to balance professional responsibilities with your personal commitments.
The successful candidate will:
Provide professional governance advice, administrative leadership and clerking support to Academy Committees, ensuring effective governance, statutory compliance and informed decision making that supports academy improvement and positive outcomes for our pupils.
You'll be an organised and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and confidence using a range of digital systems. You'll enjoy building relationships, managing competing priorities and thinking ahead to identify opportunities and solutions that support effective governance and positive outcomes for our academies.
It would be advantageous if you have experience of governance, education or supporting senior-level meetings, although we welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
