Pegasus School is a dynamic and vibrant place to work, where each day you make a huge difference to children’s lives.
We care deeply about each and every child and look for the very best in our team to cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Our school is an inclusive team that never gives up on a child - no matter how complex or challenging that can be.
Leadership provides the impetus, support and challenge to help everyone become better than they thought they could ever be. Our sense of purpose and determination to build innovative, inspiring and highly effective practices across all levels of the organisation are an overwhelming driver and permeate everything that we do.
Wherever you are in your career we may have a position for you. We appreciate that whilst experience is important, will and determination to have a great impact on children’s learning is just as vital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of creative, innovative minds who have the highest expectations for the children in their care.
The role -
Do you have the drive and passion to make a difference to children’s lives? Are you interested in becoming a teacher in future years and want to start your career journey? Do you have the commitment to ensure the highest of care and quality of provision for children?
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our teaching team. We are looking for graduates that can support the catch up and educational provision for our pupils. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development, supportive friendly environment and a leadership team driven to achieve the very best for the community.
As a graduate you may have the desire to go into teaching as a career. We can support you along that journey. This year will give you the experience of working with children and if you are successful on an application to United teach, we could sponsor you through the next year to become a newly qualified teacher.
About You -
You will need to have experience, or at least the passion to develop knowledge of effective educational support. You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. To be confident and comfortable in supporting some of our most vulnerable children, you will align to the values of our school and embrace the ethos of Pegasus Primary and our Oxford cluster of schools.
Pegasus Primary is situated on the outskirts of Oxford City, within Blackbird Leys. Your work will have the power to transform life opportunities where it is needed most. You will be part of United Learning Multi-Academy Trust.
