Wymondham High Academy is looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working, and self-motivated Grounds person to join our in-house Premises Team. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy and dynamic School; the estate comprises of various sports pitches, fields and garden/landscaped areas across our 24 acre site.
The job is a full-time position; 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, throughout the year with core working hours being with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in grounds, commercial gardening, or landscaping roles.
- Possession of a relevant tractor driving licence and/or proficiency in operating ride-on lawnmowers
- Familiarity with the use of maintenance and gardening equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to prioritize work independently.
