What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking aGroup Senior Lead - Progression to Higher Educationto lead and coordinate our UCAS strategy across the Eastern Education Group, ensuring every student has access to outstanding advice,guidanceand support as they explore university and degree apprenticeship opportunities. This is an exciting leadership role where you will shape progression initiatives, oversee the UCAS application processand Aim Higher Programme, lead a team of dedicatedadvisersand work closely with curriculum staff, universities,employersand external partners to create inspiring opportunities for learners.
As part of our Futures team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering progression events, informationsessionsand aspirational activities, particularly for students from underrepresented backgrounds through the NEACO partnership. You will build and strengthen relationships with Higher Education providers and employers, keep abreast of developments in UCAS and student finance, and use data tomonitoroutcomes, measureimpactand continuously improve the support we provide. You will also manage progression projects, ensuring effective planning,reportingand budget management.
We are looking for an organised,proactiveand inspiring leader with experience of the UCAS application process, delivering high-quality advice and guidance, and supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds. You will be a confident communicator who can present to large audiences, build effectivepartnershipsand lead a team to deliver an exceptional student experience.
