We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. Working closely with the Catering Manager and Group Head of Catering, you will oversee food preparation and service, kitchen standards, stock and budgets, ensuring all Food Safety, Health & Safety and operational requirements are consistently met.
You will lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, supporting recruitment, training and performance management while creating a positive and inclusive working environment. You will manage stock, purchasing, portion control, waste and cost of sales, maintain accurate records, oversee equipment and cleaning standards, and respond effectively to customer needs and feedback.
We are seeking a confident, organised and customer-focused chef who can lead by example, maintain high standards and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also support Eastern Education Group’s sustainability objectives and Net Zero ambitions through responsible use of resources and contribute to the wider catering service across the Group.
