The Governors of Maple Court Academy, part of the Alpha Academies Trust, are seeking to appoint a Head of Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled individual to join our friendly and professional team.

The Head of Academy will be accountable directly to the Executive Principal for the professional leadership and operational management of the Academy to ensure that the Academy’s aims are implemented in accordance with the vision and ethos of the Trust. The Head of Academy will join the executive group of the Alpha Academies Trust playing a substantial part in promoting and shaping the Trust’s reputation and direction.

Maple Court is a large primary academy with almost 500 pupils located in the Bentilee area of Stoke-on-Trent. Children enter the Academy with very low literacy and numeracy skills and the academy is ambitious to provide all pupils with the skills, knowledge and understanding to succeed in later life.
