What skills and experience we're looking for
Montagu Academy are looking to appoint a Head of Academy to join our academy in September 2026 on a full time, permanent basis.
Salary: Leadership Pay Scale. Points L16 to L20 (£75,048 to £82,654)
As a Head of Academy, you will be responsible for all aspects of the internal organisation, professional leadership, management, and control of the academy and for leading supervision over teaching and support staff.
Successful applicants will play a key role in developing the curriculum and teaching and learning, ensuring that our learners experience outstanding teaching in the classroom as well as gaining the skills needed to play an active role in their community. You will have a proven track record in delivering results within your own classroom and developing and implementing new initiatives either within a phase or whole school.
Montagu is a large 2 form primary school situated in the town of Mexborough.
