What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Headteacher to lead our small and highly successful small school.

The person we are looking for will be:

  • a hardworking and nurturing professional who is passionate about standards and has high expectations;
  • a team player who is child-focused and ready to lead by example;
  • a resilient leader who can build on the school’s current strengths and improve learning further by delivering on its improvement priorities;
  • able to lead effectively and develop the committed and skilled staff; and
  • capable of working constructively in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the wider community to reach the school’s objectives.

This post has a teaching commitment of up to 0.5.
