Well-qualified and inspirational teacher with the potential to lead a specialist department in Business, Enterprise & Economics required to join enthusiastic & committed team.

Gosport & Fareham Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational teacher with the potential to lead a specialist department in Business, Enterprise & Economics. Ideally, you will have experience in teaching GCSE Business and A Level Business and Economics and knowledge of the Cambridge National in Business Enterprise.
You will be joining an enthusiastic and committed team of business & economics teachers based at Bay House and Brune Park schools and we are keen to appoint a subject specialist leader who can lead the development of the new BTEC Business Level 3 Diploma who is able to build on the strong foundations the department has established.
Our examination results are very strong at A Level and improving at KS4. Our Sixth Form was recently ranked joint 2nd best state A Level provider in the country for centres with over 100 candidates (DfE).
Our cohort of students have a strong work ethic and take pride in their studies for our subjects, which have proved increasingly popular over recent years. Our learners are respectful, polite and work hard to develop into resilient young adults who we are very proud of. We are committed to enabling all learners, irrespective of their current attainment, to achieve.
We also deliver cross-curricular initiatives such as Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and the Enterprise Tycoon competition as well as engaging extra-curricular speakers from industry with extra-curricular visits to Washington DC and New York City, with scope to develop additional opportunities. Students are encouraged to participate in a range of extra-curricular activities, outings and competitions throughout the year.
